Submission Guidelines

What we look for, and how to submit your research to AryaGhat.

What we publish

AryaGhat publishes original, evidence-based research on heritage, dharma and philosophy, environment, society, health and botany, and geopolitics as they relate to Nepal and the wider Himalayan world. Every report must rest on verifiable sources and state its methodology clearly.

Standards every submission must meet

  • Original work — not published elsewhere, and not reproducing copyrighted text.
  • Evidence-based — claims supported by cited primary or peer-reviewed sources.
  • Transparent method — state how the research was done and its limitations.
  • Clear writing — an abstract, findings, and recommendations, in plain language.
  • Full citations — a reference list an editor can independently check.

How to submit

1
Prepare your paper as a PDF or DOC, including abstract, body, and references.
2
Upload it to Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive and set the link to “anyone with the link can view.”
3

5

Review timeline

Editors aim to respond within two to three weeks. Submission does not guarantee publication; only work that meets our evidence standard is published.
